When given the choice between electricity providers, I pledge to choose environmentally friendly generation sources - such as wind, solar, fuel cells, and low impact hydro - over environmentally degrading and health threatening sources such as nuclear power reactors and coal-fired power plants. I believe it is important that New York phase out the use of coal-fired power plants and nuclear power reactors and switch to cleaner sources of electricity generation to safeguard public health and the environment.
