To find out some tips on lobbying, please click on Meeting a Legislator. When you lobby a legislator, it's always wise to follow up with a letter or a phone call. When you try to get in touch with a legislator by phone, you will probably speak to a member of his/her staff.

Writing a letter about an issue you're concerned about, or a bill you support or oppose usually makes a great impression, as long as the letter is short and to the point. Click on Letter Writing to view a sample letter.
