Starting in January 2001, Laura Cisco has taken on Environmental Advocates' critical legislative tracking system. This includes managing the distribution of memos in support of and opposition to key environmental legislation to the members of the New York State Legislature. Laura previously worked as EA's membership assistant for almost two years, and returned to Environmental Advocates in late January 2000 as our administrative assistant.

Laura earned a BA in Philosophy from Union College and has worked as a volunteer with the Warren County Democratic Committee, the Glens Falls Ethics Board, Washington County Head Start and the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council. Laura is also an accomplished world traveler, who has visited Iceland, Italy and Hong Kong in recent years.
