Before joining Environmental Advocates as our pesticide project director, Audrey Thier spent several years as a policy analyst for the state Assembly Legislative Commission on Toxic Substances and Hazardous Wastes. Her focus was on pesticides, lead poisoning, air toxics, and pollution prevention. As principal Assembly staff person on the Pesticide Reporting Law, Audrey worked closely with Environmental Advocates. Prior to arriving at the Assembly, Audrey worked with local land trusts in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, and as an environmental impact analyst for Baltimore County, Maryland. Audrey has a B.A. in biology and anthropology from Yale University, and an M.S. in agronomy from the University of Maryland. |
